WEDDED WEDNESDAY

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted a 'wedded wednesday' lovelies! I see SO many beautiful weddings and receptions (and I always pin them!) but I forget to share here with you. So without further adieu, check out this rockin reception dinner idea:

I would love love love to have been a guest at that wedding! I also love how a scaled down version of this soiree could totally be executed for an engagement party in your parents backyard, or for a dinner at home on your patio with your close friends. The twinkly lights and the curve of the tables instead of one straight line are what do it for me. Can you hear the soft French music playing in the background?

CURRENTLY LOVING....

Not sure what it is 'exactly' that I love so much about this bedroom... Could it be the layering of the bedding? The Mercury lamp bases? The GORGEOUS fireplace? The modern and traditional pieces mixed together? Still not sure what it is, but I would L.O.V.E to call that space my own!

CHEVRON LOVE

I know its not just me who adores a little chevron pattern... I've been seeing it EVERYWHERE lately! There is so much attitude and elegance that the chevron pattern demands, you can't help but smile when you see it used. It can completely change the look of a neutral room with just a pop of pattern, or enhance a dramatic space even more when mixed with other textile patterns.

(I DIE for this ceiling btw... amazeballs!)

So what do you think? What is your favorite use of chevron whether it be on your floors, ceiling (my fave), your back splash, etc?

INTERIOR CONSULTATIONS

{me - rummaging through vintage fabric at a flea market in Provence, France}

I often get asked, "What is an interior design consultation? What can I expect when I/we meet with you about decorating my space?" -
I offer this service to local LA and Orange County residents only - the consultation is a way to have professional design services at a fraction of the cost of Conventional Interior Design. The difference is that I come to your space and discuss your design needs in person. It could be just answers to some spatial questions or a whole room design, including furniture layouts, plans, color schemes, finishes and resources. You choose how to spend your time with me.

Many questions can be answered with my on-site consultation service. Oftentimes you already have existing furniture that just doesn’t work in a space, or you are looking at a house to purchase and don’t know if it will work for you and your family. I will give you advise on the spot and additional resources depending on your needs.

If I seem like a good fit where I understand what you need and what style you are, we would then move into conventional Interior Design. From concept to completion, I take care of everything, always taking into consideration your esthetic preferences and functional needs.
  • Space planning, including minor architectural alterations advice - if needed.
  • Design drawings, contractor ready.
  • Furniture layouts, schedules and purchasing.
  • Paint color and interior finishes selections.
  • Interior landscaping.
  • Lighting plans.
  • Purchasing of furnishings, fabrics and finishes available to trade only.
Never hesitate to ask me a design question or any dilemma you may have: jamie@jamieloop.com
