WEDDED WEDNESDAY

Simple. Rustic. Elegant. I love this gorgeous bouquet! It would be stunning paired with a romantic gown, at an outdoor wedding under the stars. <3

ABOUT JAMIE

My love for decorating started at a very young age. When my mom remarried and we moved into our new family home, it was the perfect opportunity for me to learn about space planning. I was only 10 years old, but I made every attempt to put my two cents in on where our new furniture should go! My mother always encouraged my artistic side - her being an artist too - and let me paint my room and pick out new bedspreads any time I wanted. I distinctly remember the "Garden Phase" where everything in my room was green and white, with plastic ivy curled around my four post bed, and lattice stapled to the walls for my indoor flower garden to grow. While my taste over time has become more sophisticated, my passion and excitement for decorating has remained and deepened.

I started blogging The Loophole - a play on my last name - as a means for me to share my inspirations and ideas with anyone who cared to listen, and loved watching my style evolve. After years in the home retail and design industry, I was urged by family and friends to start my own business, and in 2008, I launched JL Interior Design. I now take on new clients lovingly and I cherish the spaces they let me create for them.
